Vehicles equipped with cameras or sensors mounted near the windshield may require calibration after replacement. This can include systems used for lane assistance, collision warnings, or automatic emergency braking.

- Do not press on the glass or attempt to remove loose fragments.
- Arrange an inspection promptly if the crack is growing or affects visibility.
Safety and Aftercare
The windshield contributes to visibility, cabin protection, roof support, and proper airbag performance. Driving with severe damage can reduce these safety functions.
After a repair or replacement, follow the technician’s instructions regarding cure time, safe driving, adhesive retention tape, car washing, and window operation. If visibility is obstructed or the glass appears unstable, avoid driving until it has been professionally evaluated.
